The Rosen Institute and the Rosen Metod Centar BiH are happy to invite you to Sarajevo for the next Rosen Method Global Congress. The Rosen Method community in the Balkan region has grown steadily with enthusiasm over the last 15 years. They are excited to share their city, cultures and dedication to the Rosen Method with the rest of the world. The congress will follow a 1-day Leaders Conference (November 4) and a 3-day Teachers Intensive (November 2 – 4). The program has been created this way to make it as efficient as possible for travel from other continents.
Rosen Method in Sarajevo
In 2005, Annika Minnbergh, Yrsa Kjerrgren and Lotta Johansson, from the Swedish Rosen Method school, offered the first intensive in Sarajevo. They have been integral to the growth of the training and have diligently supported the RM community in the Balkan region over the past 15 years.
The Global Congress Organizing Committee
The committee is made up of members from the Rosen Institute, Rosen Metod Centar BiH and the Balkan Rosen Method community: Maud Guettler, RI Board President; Lejla Mulic, RI Board Member (BiH), Mila Popovic, RI Board Member (SRB), Damir Saciragic, RM Intern (BiH), Annika Minnbergh (S) & Lotta Johansson (S). The committee is very excited to welcome everyone in Sarajevo.
The Program
The congress committee is dedicated to designing a dynamic and engaging program that incorporates a wide range of topics while acknowledging the theme of peace within the cultural and historical context of the Balkan region. The program will follow the traditional workshop format. The call for workshop proposals is now open. All proposals must be submitted by April 30, 2020.
In addition to workshops there will be two keynote presentations. The first will be led by four women who bring a large and diverse body of knowledge in the fields of healing and social justice in the Balkan region and beyond. They will be focusing on the idea of ‘building bridges’ from within. The second will delve into a deeper exploration of the history of Rosen Method in the Balkans and its significance within the cultural and historical context.
